Responsibilities and Expectations: 

As the Corporate FP&A Manager for IPS, you will be responsible for the management of IPS’s monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. You will work closely with the Regional Finance Managers, as well as the Corporate FP&A and Accounting teams. This role will oversee our financial reporting, consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes.

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Lead the development, coordination, and execution of the company's annual budgeting process, working closely with various departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed financial forecasts, incorporating historical data, market trends, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor and analyze variances between actual financial results and forecasts, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions as needed.

Performance Analysis:

  • Develop and oversee service center monthly reporting and analysis of financial results.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas of concern for senior management.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of proposed initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
  • Work closely with the management team in overall financial support of Operations, including Supply Chain, HR, Fleet and other functions.

Management Reporting:

  • Lead administration of IPS’s consolidation and planning platform.
  • Manage integration of acquisition financial statement information into IPS’s consolidation platform.
  • Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc financial reports, presentations, and insights to senior management, providing a clear understanding of the company's financial health.
  • Consolidate and communicate key financial information to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously enhance FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and technology to optimize financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance – Advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior working experience with either financial consolidation & planning software (i.e., Planful / Host Analytics, OneStream, Workday, etc.) is preferred
