Winder (1st shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Who We Are:  

Responsibilities and Expectations: 

We are looking for a skilled Stator Winder to join our team. Responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring proper coil insulation-meeting customer requirements.
• Clean and de-bur stator core.
• Insulate and wind stator coil
• Braze coil connections
• Spray Teflon agent on stator core
• Electrically test
• Produce quality work to the customer’s written specifications
• Understanding document center and how to properly utilize the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies: 

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast pace environment that is very meticulous in nature, requiring attention to detail, and repetitive.
• Must be willing to work additional hours when required.
• Must have knowledge of shop math including the ability to use standard and metric systems, and the ability to read scales and weights is required.  Knowledge of electricity is preferred.
• Must have correct placement of materials when winding.
• Ability to read blue prints and follow customer specifications.
• Must be able to read in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Position may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand (majority of time), reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk.
• The employee is frequently required to use their hand to write and handle objects or controls in a repetitive motion to wind.
