Responsibilities and Expectations:   

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Regional HSE Specialist to assist in managing the company health, safety, and environmental management system within the Central Region of Integrated Power Services. As a Regional HSE Specialist you will oversee and support the education and training of Integrated Power Services’ location staff within the assigned region in federal, state, and local laws, reinforcing the compliance of IPS’s safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures across multiple assigned job sites as well as support the leadership and HSE element owners at the assigned locations. 

  • Support all aspects of the HSE programs
  • Workers’ Compensation administration and management 
  • Support the OSHA, MSHA and EPA compliance programs
  • Administer and track completion of the monthly safety training program
  • Assist in the writing of programs, procedures, memos, etc. necessary to maintain compliance with mandatory regulations
  • Assist the HR department in the implementation and enforcement of EHS policies, procedures, and standards 
  • Maintain corporate level contractor qualification systems (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, etc.)
  • Ensure company HSE policies adhere to local, state, and federal regulations 
  • Coordinate special safety and environmental drives and campaigns
  • Ad hoc reporting required by regional and upper-level management
  • Promote a culture of zero-incidents for all team members by demonstrating honest, genuine care and passion for HSE
  • Demonstrate flexibility regarding any other duties which may be required periodically

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
  • +2 years of EHS experience preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Preferred
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 suite
  • Proven attention to detail and project management skills
  • Proven track record for process redesign and implementation
  • Ability to be innovative, creative and a proven self-motivated, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
  • +2 years of EHS experience preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Preferred
  • Requires 3+ years of driving experience
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 suite
  • Proven attention to detail and project management skills
  • Proven track record for process redesign and implementation
  • Ability to be innovative, creative and a proven self-motivated, team-oriented attitude
