$100000 - $115000
Responsibilities & Expectations:
· Lead the Regional Distribution Inside Sales team to deliver exceptional customer service for the IPS distribution and Drives business.
· Manage and work within the IPS Enterprise systems to generate proposals and deliver customer service.
· Ensure that key performance measurements for the Inside Sales team are being achieved.
· Coordinate and support targeted sales efforts to win Drives business in the Region.
· Manage inventory needs and turns to ensure effective customer availability and proper management of IPS assets and ROI.
· Engage frequently with our supplier base and coordinate activities with them ensuring that IPS receives good support and excellent market pricing.
· Ensure that proposals for large motor/drives are properly prepared with needed details and review with engineering as necessary for technical support.
· Drive measurable growth at for Drives and Motor business in the region.
· Leverage IPS products & specifications to drive application wins and customer conversion with local sales teams at targeted customer accounts.
· Communicate important Voice of Customer (VOC) information back to key internal IPS stakeholders.
· Provide commercial assistance as needed to IPS locations across multiple service centers and regions.
· Strategic thought leadership of key trends for motors and drives impacting the Region, its future needs, and barriers to win new business.
· Work with IPS Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Service Centers to evaluate sales opportunities and engage with them on targets and initiatives to win new business.
· Work with key leadership to develop and implement marketing communications for the region that clearly identify IPS products, services, reputation, and other factors to improve sales and industry knowledge.
· Promote training of Inside Sales team supporting the motor and Drive business.
· Provide customer service for timely and cost-effective completion of all Distribution related functions in support of the IPS outside sales organization and our OEM partners, such as providing quotes, processing orders, and supplier management.
· Interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures
· Utilize Continuous Improvement Process Solution tools and processes
· Maintain detailed notes in order files
Qualifications and Competencies:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing
· 10+ years of customer service or sales experience in the electric motor, drive, or related industry.
· Proven ability to build valuable, long-term customer relationships.
· Ability to develop and execute business and strategic account plans that drive product and industry account growth.
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across customers, IPS service centers, and functional teams.
· Proven ability to meet or exceed annual sales quotas and profitability expectations.
· Maintains high customer satisfaction and provides Voice of Customer (VOC) input to IPS team leaders.
· Collaborative business partner and leader who works effectively across teams.
· Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite as well as Adobe Acrobat
· Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret data and take appropriate action.
