• Perform, oversee, and interpret generator testing as applicable, including insulation resistance (Megger), polarization index (PI), Hipot, winding resistance, Doble testing, EL-CID, and other diagnostic testing.

• Identify equipment failures, abnormal conditions, and potential root causes and work with Engineering and Project Management to develop appropriate solutions.

• Safely operate or oversee the use of field equipment and tooling including torch sets, electrical test equipment, forklifts, personnel lifts, and other specialized equipment.

• Review field findings, measurements, testing results, and repair documentation to ensure accurate reporting and quality execution.

Customer & Team Leadership

• Serve as a key onsite point of contact between IPS field personnel, Project Management, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.

• Communicate project status, technical findings, field conditions, and emerging concerns clearly and professionally.

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering to resolve technical and execution challenges.

• Support proposal development, repair recommendations, technical solutions, and future project opportunities by providing field expertise and lessons learned.

• Provide customer and market insight related to repair scope, execution challenges, equipment condition, and service opportunities.
