IPS is seeking motivated Project Manager to lead and support our innovative team. Under the authority of the Facility Manager, the Project Manager acts as the central point of contact between customers, internal teams, and external partners. The role combines a sales-oriented approach, strong technical expertise in transformer components, and rigorous project management to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
· Identify customer needs, estimate project scope and costs, and prepare quotations;
· Analyze customer requirements, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and prepare detailed and competitive proposals;
· Manage projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, schedules, budgets, risk management, and contractual compliance;
· Coordinate master service agreements, contractual documentation, and project administration, including billing and data integrity within internal systems;
· Maintain proactive communication with customers, ensure timely follow-up on requests, manage expectations, and identify additional sales opportunities;
· Act as a technical expert in transformers and as an internal reference for sales, production, and procurement teams;
· Oversee project-specific purchasing, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure the quality of deliverables;
· Support internal teams in project execution, resolution of technical issues, and process optimization;
· Participate in internal meetings and contribute to continuous improvement, service offering development, and overall customer experience.
Qualifications and Competencies:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management;
· Bachelor's degree or technical degree in engineering or a relevant field;
· Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
· Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook;
· Proficiency in computer-aided design and wiring diagrams (an asset);
· Project management certification, such as PMP or CAPM (an asset);
· Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite (an asset).
